In case you didn’t know, the Bronx Zoo has an annual summer event called the “Animal Tales Extravaganza”. Each weekend they host character meet & greets and a variety of events for the kids. As an Ambassador for the Bronx Zoo, I love visiting the Zoo with our family pass. It’s not only fun, but also relaxing just walking around the Zoo with the family. The kiddos enjoy seeing the animals and hubs and I love just strolling around outdoors in the nice shade of the Zoo. I’m so excited for this Spring and Summer! I recently became a WCS Bronx Zoo/NY Aquarium Blog Ambassador. Which means in exchange for my event coverage and reviews, I received a Family Membership, but no other compensation, monetary or otherwise. We attended an event hosted by Schwinn and Summer Sanders on Wednesday. It was such a blast! So I decided to dedicate this weeks’ Feature Friday to Schwinn bikes and a recap of the event. Lil Man is on his third week of swim class at the YMCA. The instructors there are wonderful with the children. They know how to interact with the kids no matter what age. George is our swim instructor for the little kids this season. He’s outgoing and great at explaining what to do with the babies and how to get them acquainted with the water. We dunked him full body and fortunately no crying. He flapped his arms a bit, but that was it. It’s a lot of fun watching him enjoy the water and progress each week.
