    Parent Tip: Potty Training

Don’t schedule playdates or parties during the days you’re potty training. When your child is going through potty training one of the most important things is keeping them focused. Even though potty training can take longer than a few days, you want to provide consistency at the beginning of training. Having friends over or going out can cause a lot of excitement that could make them lose focus. They’ll want to play and lose interest in potty training.

    Head injuries

I was watching Lil man while he was  holding onto the sofa while standing and moving along the edge. It seems as though he’s going from 5 months to 5 years so quickly. Already wanting to be very independent, it seems he was born with the same spirit and self sufficiency as his dad and me. He’s growing quickly and learning at a faster pace than I expected. At 5 months, he’s already wearing 12 month clothing while wearing 18 month full body suits. I can only hope he’ll be tall like…

    Baby arrives

The Lil Man arrived a week late, but he’s more than we can ask for. I see his father staring at him in awe. I see him with my own eyes thinking how amazing it is that this little thing was in my belly for 41 weeks and now he’s arrived. Our bundle of joy.. the baby…the little man.  It’s been three weeks since his birth and being at home the last few weeks with him has certainly been tiring while recovering, but also such a blessing that I’m home and don’t have to worry about going back to work. I wake up seeing him. His eyes looking back at…
