If you didn’t know, this is a personal blog. I write and edit everything posted on it (unless it says it’s a guest post, then that guest writes and I might do some minor copy editing).

Words that describe me:

These words describe not only me but my writing and my life. Whenever you read anything on this blog, know that these words are the ones I follow when I write.

Other things I want to point out:

Reviews:

  • I might or might not be paid to reviews products
  • In fact, a lot of the reviews are just reviews I do because I want to share my experience with the product I purchased on my own or received as a gift from a personal friend (ie. kids birthday presents)
  • If I’m asked to do a review – you’ll see it in the post as I fully disclose any relationships I have with brands
  • If I’m asked to do a review sometimes the requestor may pay for the review and provide the product to me at no cost to try
  • I reserve the right to opt-out of publishing a review if I do not feel that I can be fair in my opinion
  • I also post reviews of things I’ve checked out during an event
  • I accept tickets and free admission to venues and events for review purposes, other times it might just be an event I attended on my own

Advertising:

  • You may see banner ads on the blog. These are paid either by the vendor or it could be an affiliate link
  • Sponsorships & advertising will be reviewed by me prior to listing and will be based on whether the vendor is in line with our brand

Feature Fridays:

  • Can be from people I’ve never met personally
  • Can also be from people I do know personally
  • A Photography session
    • Maternity
    • Newborn
    • Baby birthday
  • A Nursery
  • Anything I might find interesting
  • Might be a paid feature post by said vendor

Other things to note:

  • Content, topics, or posts will always be honest and never clouded with influence from sponsors, advertisers, or otherwise
  • I do NOT claim to be an expert
  • I do a lot of research and use a lot of different products and base my review content on the results of my own experience and research
  • Any product claim, statistic, quote, or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider
